The Battle for Normandy Museum is excellent - clearly showing visitors the creation of the bridge head on D-Day right through to the Germans retreating across the River Seine. Military equipment is on display plus arms, uniforms, films, photos and dioramas detailing the hard battles fought through the bocage, the destruction of many Normandy towns and villages ending with the surrender and annihilation of German forces in the 'Falaise Gap'. Throughout Normandy there are so many museums covering D-Day and the Battle for Normandy, this one I would definitely put in the Top 5 as if covers the whole Battle from June 6th - 31st August 1944.
