Our prices have no hidden extras - unlike some gîtes we do not charge extra for electricity usage, linen, towels etc. and there is no final cleaning bill.

Our only extras should you chose to have them are breakfast, evening meals and extra logs for the wood burner (2 nights worth of logs are included)

 

Maximum 2 people per gîte  (children under 4 years old are free - cot available)

Taxe de Sejour (Tourist Tax) is not payable in the commune of St. Aubin Fosse Louvain.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS / PAYMENTS 

4+ nights reservation - Non refundable deposit of 20% at time of your reservation - Balance to be paid in full 30 days before arrival date.

1 to 3 night reservations - Full payment to be made 30 days before arrival date or if within 30 days at the time of making your reservation. 

 

Deposits and or Full payments can be made by Credit/Debit Card or International Bank Transfer.

We prefer International Bank Transfer due to the high charge (2.5%) made by SumUp card service.   

If wishing to pay by card a SumUp link will be emailed to you. Click on this link to make the payment.

 

On making a reservation we will send you a confirmation email. Your chosen dates will be blocked out on 3rd party agents websites and on our availability calendar to prevent a double booking and allowing you 48 hrs to make your deposit or full payment. On receiving your deposit or full payment we will email you a receipt. If payment not received we have the right to unblock your dates to enable others to make a reservation.  

 

Any extras - breakfasts, dinners and extra firewood can be made by card, French cheque or cash on departure.

 

We appreciate at times cancellations are unavoidable. In the event of a cancellation within 30 days of full payment/arrival we will refund any nights in which we have managed to refill any of the dates you originally booked. All bank charges will be deducted from any refund.

Should we agree that final payment is to be made before departure, any cancellation prior to your arrival date or a no show, will be charged at the reservation

nightly rate x the number of nights reserved. 

 

We advise that all our guests take out Travel Insurance to cover any health issues whilst in France, loss of personal items, personal liability and any cancellation costs. 

We are not responsible for any guests who do not have their own travel insurance.

French Doctors, Hospitals, Paramedics, Ambulances, Pharmacies will charge you for their service. So insurance is essential.

Prior to your arrival date, we will email you directions to find La Martinière plus any other details you may require.

Our Arrival supper is to be pre-booked minimum 48 hours in advance.

If you wish to have breakfast on any day, the menu card is completed the night before and posted in the Royal Mail Post Box by 9pm.
