Thank you for a wonderful stay. You were very welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. The cats were also very welcoming. The gîtes is equipped to a very high standard and you can see the work you have put into it. I bet it is very cozy in winter. We cannot fault anything, we had an amazing dinner, that David cooked for us, slept so well in the very comfortable Super King size bed and the gîte is spotlessly clean. The local area is brilliant for cycling and we found the local community so friendly. We really enjoyed the village bike ride and we found the area had the right balance of tourism, as we do not like tourist hotspots. We will no doubt return as there are so many routes to cycle and restaurants to try.

Le gîte est équipé à un niveau très élevé et on peut voir le travail que vous y avez fait. Je parie qu'il est très confortable en hiver. Nous n'avons rien à redire, nous avons eu un dîner extraordinaire que David nous a cuisiné, nous avons très bien dormi dans le très confortable lit Super King size et le gîte est d'une propreté irréprochable. Les environs sont parfaits pour faire du vélo et nous avons trouvé la communauté locale très amicale. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la balade à vélo dans le village et nous avons trouvé que la région avait le bon équilibre en termes de tourisme, car nous n'aimons pas les hauts lieux touristiques. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute car il y a tellement de routes à faire à vélo et de restaurants à essayer.

Het is een uitermate comfortabel huisje. De voorzieningen zijn uitgebreid. In de grote tuin zijn er meerdere zitgelegenheden (zon, schaduw). De omgeving is landelijk en zeer rustig (dus wel een stukje rijden naar de bakker). Een aantal keren hebben we ons laten verwennen door een super ontbijt of een voortreffelijke diner. De kookkunsten van David zijn voortreffelijk en het ontdekken waard.

It is an extremely comfortable cottage. The amenities are extensive. In the large garden there are several seating areas (sun, shade). The area is rural and very quiet (so a short drive to the bakery). A number of times we have been pampered by a super breakfast or an exquisite dinner. David's cooking skills are exquisite and worth discovering. Dear Helen and David, we miss you all ready! The weather is miserable (cloudy, rain) and our garden is covered with weeds. We had a wonderful stay at David and Helen's place. The place is exactly like the photos, it is warm and welcoming in peaceful surroundings and very tastefully furnished and equipped. We opted to have the wonderful breakfasts offered as well as dinners and David is an amazing cook, highly recommend. David and Helen really were wonderful attentative hosts and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay and gave great advice for visiting attractions and places to visit near by. We went to Le Mont St Michel and Saint Malo and had a great day out returning to a great dinner prepared by David. On a side note, the bed was extremely comfortable. A wonderful place to relax, highly recommend.

This cottage was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring Normandy and Brittany. We loved the working wood-burning stove, especially on a couple of cold, rainy evenings. Everything was newly renovated, and the breakfasts were not to be missed. This place would be great for couples looking for an alternative to a busy Paris, or the typical Normandy towns. The hosts were super responsive and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend.
